Justin is an experienced coach, mentor, clinician, and clinical supervisor. He primarily works with young adults in a variety of clinical settings, ranging from residential care to in-home treatments. He considers it a privilege to have the opportunity to form meaningful and supportive relationships with those he serves. In addition to his work at Valiance, Justin is also an adjunct faculty member of Fairfield University and the University of Connecticut. He studied at the University of North Carolina–Wilmington for his bachelor’s in Social Work and at the University of Connecticut for his master’s in Social Work.

T.J. is passionate about supporting adolescents, college-aged individuals, and young professionals to create and achieve meaningful, fulfilling goals. Drawing on his diverse background, including years as a competitive athlete (soccer, lacrosse, and semi-professional paintball) and his current work as a professional musician, T.J. brings a relatable, creative, and dynamic perspective to therapy. Academically, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Quinnipiac University and his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University. He is currently pursuing an advanced degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Yale University, further bridging the worlds of counseling and advanced nursing practice.

Cori practices two beliefs:

She realized these back when she was a captain of the Women’s Basketball team at Clark University, and she carried these values today into her work as a clinician. Cori values connection and diversity and uses creativity to help those she serves. She is able to empower her clients to trust their process (the journey they have so far in and out of their sessions) and embrace their vulnerability, especially during tough times.

Evan embodies the ethos of Valiance: being able to coach people through life’s toughest moments. As a coach and a counselor, he knows how to motivate individuals to achieve success, be it in academics, sports, or life in general—or all three.
He has extensive experience as an undergraduate admissions counselor at Sacred Heart University. There, he reviewed thousands of student essays, letters of recommendation, resumes, and supplemental submissions for admission.
This experience, combined with his ability to connect well with students and families, gives him the ultimate tool to help clients navigate the rigorous college search and application process.
Evan now works part-time at Valiance as a group fitness instructor and advisor and full-time as a high school guidance counselor.
Evan primarily works with high school and college-aged students, ages 12 and above.

Matt is an experienced Mental Performance Coach, consultant, and mentor. He works with athletes across all levels—from youth to professionals—providing personalized mental skills training through individual sessions, group work, and hands-on experiential workshops. His approach helps athletes and high performers develop the mental tools needed to succeed both on and off the field.
Matt’s coaching is strengths-based and highly collaborative. He partners with each individual to uncover their unique abilities and find practical ways to maximize their skills in any performance environment—whether in sport, school, job, or life. Every session is designed to leave you with applied actionable strategies to elevate overall performance.

With a background in corporate sales and experience as a collegiate basketball player, he connects deeply with professionals, students, and athletes navigating high-pressure situations and personal transitions.
He is passionate about helping clients align their mental health with their goals—whether that involves managing anxiety, improving focus, navigating identity shifts, or overcoming performance hurdles. His approach is relational, strengths-based, and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based practices.

Kylie is the Clinical Administrator at Valiance, where she supports both the operational systems and the therapeutic mission of the practice. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sacred Heart University and is on the path toward becoming a licensed therapist. Kylie brings experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), where she supported children and families with a variety of behavioral and mental health needs. She is also a certified Pilates instructor, which has deepened her understanding of the mind-body connection and contributed to her holistic view of wellness. With a background in behavioral health, coaching, and administration, Kylie brings both structure and empathy to her work. She is proud to uphold the core values of trust, excellence, and hospitality, and she looks forward to supporting every client’s journey toward healing.
